Very well seasoned meat and smooth enchilada sauce. For those wanting spice this was not, suited me perfectly. Beans and rice tasty, again no spice but good flavor. ”

“ My family has frequented this restaurant for literally generations, starting with my wife's grandparents, parents, and now us. Sure, some things have changed over the years. The menu has gotten a little pricier. Staff has changed a bit. But, it doesn't stop us from going. Why? Two words. Consistency, and nummyness. Yes I know, "nummyness" isn't a word. But it describes the food here perfectly. It's just good, yo. Tasty, Seasoned well, cooked nearly perfectly every time. Sure I've had "less than perfect" dishes. For instance, the chili Colorado burrito I had this last time had pork that could have used another half an hour or simmering, as it was just a 'little' chewy.... But hardly worthy of note. Why? The 2nd word. Consistency. I've had this same dish dozens of times through the years, and it's been chewy like, twice. The cooks here know what they're doing, and it shows. Cheese is always melted. Rice and beans always on point. Tortillas always toasted just right. Not to mention the chips and salsa! I've tried two kinds - mild and hot. The mild is ADDICTIVE to say the least. I could drink the stuff. It has small chunks but mostly runny. Hot is a mixture of tomatillos and chili's. Chunky, thick, Spicy! The staff? Always kind. The restaurant? Always clean. Now, is it "authentic"? No. Definitely Americanized Mexican food. Does that make it any less delicious? No! Just because they don't sell $1 street tacos like every other place in town doesn't mean it isn't good food. Our grandparents, Parents, us, and probably our kids will continue to frequent this delicious restaurant for many more generations to come... Because it's just good. ”
